Our journey began with the realization that clean water and proper sanitation are fundamental rights, yet many communities in India lack access to these necessities. Inspired by the challenges faced by people in both rural and urban areas, we were motivated to take action. Leveraging NASA's Earth observation data, we identified critically affected water bodies and sanitation issues, forming the Community Initiative for Water Quality and Sanitation.

Our diverse team of environmental enthusiasts, data scientists, community leaders, and volunteers united with a common goal: to improve water quality and sanitation across India. Through clean-up drives, educational workshops, and citizen science projects, we engaged local communities, empowering them to take charge of their environment. Our efforts have led to restored water bodies in urban areas and improved sanitation facilities in rural regions, significantly enhancing quality of life.

Today, our website serves as a hub for resources and community engagement, aiming to expand our impact through partnerships and outreach.
